President Uhuru Kenyatta was last evening hosted at a state dinner by the Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed and President Sahle-Work Zewde at the Presidential Palace in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Speaking during the state dinner, President Kenyatta called on African leaders to prioritise and fast-track integration processes for Africa to achieve faster development.

President Kenyatta urged the current crop of African leaders to follow the legacies of the founding fathers of African countries by uniting people across the continent.

President Kenyatta also called for the removal of all systemic barriers that hinder the blossoming of people-to-people relations in Africa, noting that Africans must work together as good neighbours and loving brothers to defeat the challenges that suppress the continent.
