Treasury on the spot over procurement of electronic gadgets

National Treasury CS Henry Rotich will be on Tuesday  summoned by MPs about procurement gadget flows in the year 2013.

He is expected to shed light before the Public Accounts Committee on the questions which were raised by the editor general concerning the financial year 2013/2014 .
This is a question which has brought mixed reactions from the former chair of IEBS Isaac Hassan ,Former CEO James Oswago  and Ezra Chiloba.
Last month when Chiloba was addressing the concern he said that the commission had been given the approval to pay the firm sh.460 m by the treasury and auditor as additional claim of what they had supplied during the elections .
He said that he opted to pay sh.250 m instead of 460 m  which had been recorded as pending bills. The amount was for the supply of 4,600 additional  kits , the hand held devices but they had not been paid for in2013.
