Kenyan journalist who went to India for treatment fails to get a compatible bone marrow

A Kenyan Journalist by the name Dennis Omondi has suffered a big blow after he failed to get compatible bone marrow. He is undertaking treatment at Apollo Hospital in India.

Dennis Omondi who was supposed to have bone marrow transplant this week will have to wait longer which means more costs so that a compatible bone marrow may be found anywhere in the world.
This  comes after his 4 brothers’s tests  as donors failed to be compatible to his.Journalists have been leading in the campaign of raising 6.5 M for his treatment. The campaign was boosted by Governor Alfred Mutua when he personally gave a cheque of 0,5 M.
Dennis Omondi aged 31 years who was a photojournalist at west media  , was diagnosed with acute anaemia at Kenyatta National Hospital on 1st January.
After some period of time of treatment at KNH , he was later flown to Apollo hospital which is in India for specialized treatment.
